		<description>The first thing that strikes me when reading this article is that yes, we already live in a socialist society in the negative sense of the term.  The second thing that struck me is that Fr. McNabb observed that fact back in 1914, a year that many people would consider the peak of capitalism.  Has anything really changed in the 96 years since then?  If so, have we improved or gotten worse?</description>
